Call Forwarding When Busy can now be found in the ‘Set Forwards’ section of the online control panel. This feature allows you to forward your calls automatically whenever you on the phone and a second call comes in. You will not hear a call waiting tone and the call will be automatically forwarded to the ‘Busy Forward’ number you specify.

DotBlock’s sister company ViaTalk is allowing children across the country to call Santa free of charge this holiday season to deliver their Christmas wish list directly to the big guy and his helpers at the North Pole (that’s you mom and dad!). Additionally, one lucky child will be selected at random to have their wish list granted for free courtesy of ViaTalk, a $300 value!

This free service is available nationwide to customers and non-customers alike, simply by signing up at www.letscallsanta.com, so be sure to tell your friends and family! To connect your child to the North Pole, simply enter the number you will be calling from as well as your email address on the website. After your child calls, a recording of their wish list will be emailed directly to your inbox so that you may listen at your convenience; you will also be given a unique URL to share the message with your friends and family!

Parents whom opt to share their child’s recording will be entering it (anonymously of course) into the ‘Nice List’ contest, a featured section on the front page of the site where you and everyone else can vote for their favorite recordings!

The parents of one lucky child will be contacted on Dec. 20th, 2011, and will receive a $300 Amazon.com gift card to help make their child’s holiday wishes come true this holiday season.

To Begin, log into your ViaTalk Control Panel and select Voicemail.  Select the voicemail(s) that you wish to delete by checking the box to the left of them.

Once you select which voicemail(s) you wish to delete, click the Delete button and the below confirmation pop-up will appear.  Select OK if you wish to proceed;  Cancel will return you to the page so that you can make any necessary changes.

If you wish to move a voicemail to a specific folder, the same rules above apply.  A confirmation pop-up will ask you if you wish to proceed.  Select OK to proceed; Cancel will return you to the page so that you can make any necessary changes. Once you select OK, you will be asked where you would like to move the selected voicemail(s).  Here you will find a drop-down of folders available for you to choose from.  The defaults are Inbox and Old.  (see below)

If you wish to create additional folders, please visit the main ViaTalk Control Panel and select Change Voicemail Settings. About halfway down the page you will find a section called Manage Voicmail Folders.  Here you may add or delete any folders that you choose.

Outgoing Call Routing is a great way to stop kids from dialing pay-per-call phone numbers! A customer may choose to forward a particular outgoing number elsewhere.  This call will ring directly to the forwarded number.

To get started, simply select Outgoing Call Routing from your Control Panel and fill in the fields accordingly.

This service is now known as Ennouncement and it is accessible to ViaTalk customers through their Control Panel, under the Advanced Features section.  Simply type a label into the “Add Group” field and start adding contacts!

Once you have a completed group list,  select “Send Ennouncement” and give your Ennouncement a description, select “Create”.  You now have the option to dial *400 from your ViaTalk phone, instead of dialing the 866# listed.

As a ViaTalk customer, you are provided with 1000 Ennouncement Credits every month!  If you should require more credits, you may now purchase them by selecting the “Buy More” icon, displayed within the My Account section. (see below image)
